I don't know if you are familiar with the very bad movie "Conan the Destroyer" but the plot line is that the sleeping god, which looks suspiciously like Attis, is missing his golden horn, which looks suspiciously like a penis. Conan/Arnold's mission is to return the horn/penis, unknowingly releasing a god that will destroy the world. Predictive? Since the first movie in the series "Conan the Barbarian" involves a snake cult where the main priest can turn himself into a snake, your insights have made me wonder about the entire series.
