Lemme guess: YES?

Sadly, methinks yes! The numbers of dead stagger the mind.

Peter, not sure if you knew Jon Rappaort died on July 8.

Your unconventional journalism and sense of humor remind me a bit of Jon.

Thank you for out of the box sharing of info.

Thanks. Someone told me he passed away a couple of days ago, but before that, I have to say, I didn't know who he was. The world is funny like that.

Jon did some indie writing for the LA Weekly in its early days.

Years ago someone I worked with sometimes talked about Jon’s SPIN magazine articles. I have read, some of Jon’s med/health stuff in his later writings.

It was not until konvid that I learned of Jon’s hiv stuff. Knew someone was writing about it back when but did not follow it.

Agree about Jon and Peter. Both Groundbreakers.

One other similarity is they both are visual artists. Jon was a self taught painter. Peter was a photographer. I think there is something about visual artists that let them see things different. That allows them to see things others miss.

Visual artists can see the real trees and the real forrest. Not the fake forrest propaganda creates.

Great job Peter. Jon would have been very proud of this article.
