As Lindberg Sr. showed, this was occurring before the FR was created - the international money that controlled the banking system goes back at least to Hamilton an agent of the Rothschild (who paid the price for going off the reservation and then was put on the $20 bill not to honor him. Practically every business with unbelievable growth was selectively financed by the money trust as such they controlled the companies often through board of directors but also through the threat of removing finance or takeover. So they controlled the direction of the company along with their "benevolent" foundations designed to control society. The growth and collapses experienced prior to 1913 were also controlled by international money trust which purchased the stock in many of the promising businesses after the orchestrated periodic collapses. The difference with today is that it was backed by gold and less by fiat. Today, we have basically the big 3 (Blackrock, State Street, Vanguard) as the the largest asset managers.

Lindberg Sr. died in 1924 of "brain cancer" while running for governor of Minnesota he was promptly cremated. One has to wonder if the cause of death was selected as a way to question his judgments and "conspiracy theories". Lindberg Jr ended up marrying Annie Marrow whose father was an international banker. The Lindberg baby kidnapping is also suspect - Eustice Mullins examined this.

I've yet to see the direct connection between Hamilton and Rothschild (I've looked). Do you have a citation?

Only secondary references - no primary. Mullins states that at the behest of the European Bankers, Hamilton set up the Bank of the US, a central bank with similar powers as the Bank of England. One would have to see who owned shares. I think William Guy Car suggested Hamilton was an agent. There have been others. If you look at Hamilton's early history (assuming anything can be believed) he does look like a turtle on a fence post, IMHO
